The ZKTeco ZK-EX16 is an elevator floor extension board designed to work with the EC10 elevator control panel, providing additional control for up to 16 floors per board. Together with the EC10, the EX16 offers a secure, scalable, and versatile access control solution for elevator systems. Floor access can be restricted based on user credentials such as fingerprint, proximity card, or password, and pre-defined time schedules can be configured for flexible access management.
With the ability to connect up to three EX16 boards to a single EC10 panel, the system can control up to 58 floors. Multiple EC10 panels can also be daisy-chained for larger installations, making it a cost-effective solution for buildings of various sizes.

Each EX16 board extends control to an additional 16 floors, allowing a single EC10 bundle to manage up to 58 floors when combined with three EX16 boards. During normal business hours, unrestricted floor access can be enabled (Passage mode).
The system is managed through powerful yet user-friendly software, and an SDK is available for integration with third-party applications. The EX16 board communicates with the EC10 panel via RS485 and is powered by a 12V DC 1A power supply.
