Hikvision DS-2DE4425IWG1-E 4MP 25x Powered by DarkFighter IR AcuSense Network PTZ Speed Dome with AI-ISP, Face Capture, Strobe & Audio Alarm

The Hikvision DS-2DE4425IWG1-E is a professional 4 MP network PTZ speed dome designed for wide-area surveillance where operators need both an overall view and the ability to examine distant activity in detail. Its combination of high-resolution imaging, powerful optical zoom, infrared illumination and intelligent event detection makes it suitable for warehouses, car parks, commercial properties, schools, industrial facilities and other large outdoor areas.

Equipped with a 1/2.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor, the camera delivers detailed video at resolutions up to 2560 × 1440. Hikvision’s Powered by DarkFighter technology improves image quality in low-light conditions, helping the camera retain useful colour and detail for longer as ambient lighting decreases. When conditions become too dark, the integrated infrared illumination supports clear monochrome surveillance without requiring additional visible lighting.

The motorised 4.8 mm to 120 mm lens provides 25× optical zoom, allowing users to move from a broad overview to a close-up view of people, vehicles or points of interest. Optical zoom preserves substantially more detail than digital enlargement, making the camera particularly useful for monitoring entrances, perimeter lines, loading areas, driveways and open spaces. Continuous 360-degree pan movement and a wide tilt range allow the camera to patrol multiple areas from a single mounting position.

Hikvision AcuSense technology applies deep-learning algorithms to distinguish people and vehicles from other movement within supported intelligent events. This helps reduce unnecessary notifications caused by rain, moving vegetation, animals, changing light and other environmental activity. The camera supports intelligent functions such as line-crossing and intrusion detection, with human and vehicle classification helping operators locate relevant incidents more efficiently.

The DS-2DE4425IWG1-E can be programmed with preset positions, patrol routes and patterns, allowing it to automatically monitor important areas. Rapid positioning and automatic focusing help the camera move between viewing points while maintaining a usable image. It can also be controlled manually through a compatible Hikvision NVR, management software, web interface or supported mobile application.

Efficient H.265+ video compression reduces network bandwidth and storage consumption compared with older compression formats while maintaining image quality. Multiple video streams allow different resolution and bitrate settings to be used for recording, live viewing and remote access. The camera can be integrated with compatible Hikvision recorders and video-management platforms for centralised live viewing, playback and event management.

A built-in microSD card slot provides optional local recording and can offer additional resilience if the network or recorder connection is interrupted. Audio and alarm interfaces support integration with compatible external microphones, speakers, sensors and other security equipment, subject to the selected installation configuration.

Designed for outdoor operation, the camera features a weather-resistant housing suitable for exposed environments. It can be powered using 12 VDC or compatible High PoE/PoE+ infrastructure, simplifying installation where network cabling is available. Final power requirements should be checked against the selected switch or injector, particularly where infrared illumination and PTZ functions will operate simultaneously.

The Hikvision DS-2DE4425IWG1-E provides a flexible surveillance solution for sites that require long-range observation, responsive PTZ control and intelligent filtering of human and vehicle events from a single outdoor camera.
