Locate the Reset Button:
- The reset button is typically found under the SD card slot on most Hikvision cameras.

Power Off the Camera:
- Disconnect the camera’s power supply cable or the PoE cable to turn off the device.

Press and Hold the Reset Button:
- While the camera is powered off, press and hold the reset button.

Power On the Camera:
- Reconnect the power supply or PoE cable to the camera while continuing to hold the reset button.

Hold the Reset Button:
- Keep holding the reset button for about 15 to 20 seconds.

Release the Reset Button:
- After the specified time, release the reset button. The camera will begin the reset process.
Important Notes
- After resetting the camera, you will need to use the SADP tool or a web browser to reconfigure the camera, as it will lose all previous settings, including the IP address.
- If the camera is connected to an NVR, it may automatically activate and set the NVR password as the new camera password when plugged in.
