Adding Your Hikvision CCTV to Your Phone via the Hik-Connect App
Step 1: Download and Install the Hik-Connect App
- For iOS: Open the App Store and search for “Hik-Connect,” then install the app.
- For Android: Open Google Play Store, search for “Hik-Connect,” and install it.
Step 2: Register and Log In
- Launch the App: Open the Hik-Connect application on your smartphone.

Account Setup:
- If you’re new, tap “Register” and follow the instructions to set up an account.
- If you have an existing account, tap “Login” and enter your credentials.
Step 3: Enable P2P on Your NVR
- Access the NVR: Use a monitor connected to the NVR or log in via a web browser.

Activate P2P:
- Go to Configuration > Network > Advanced Settings > Platform Access.
- Check the box to enable Platform Access.
- Ensure the status shows “Online.” If it is “Offline,” check your internet connection.
Step 4: Add the NVR to Your App
- In the Hik-Connect App: After logging in, click the “+” icon in the corner.

QR Code Scanning:
- On your NVR, navigate to Configuration > Network > Advanced Settings > Platform Access to find the QR code.
- Use your app to scan the QR code.
- Complete the Setup: After scanning, the app will recognize the NVR automatically. Follow the prompts, which may include entering a verification code typically found on your NVR or provided by your installer.
Step 5: Access Live Camera Feeds
- Live View Tab: Once your NVR is registered, go to the Live View section in the app to see real-time feeds from your cameras.

- Internet Connection: Verify that your NVR is connected to the internet.
- Firmware Updates: Ensure your NVR and cameras are running the latest firmware.
- Time Settings: Correct time settings on your NVR help avoid synchronization issues.
